Craig earned his law degree from Loyola University of Chicago and was admitted to practice law in 1976. He has practiced law for 48 years - 44 years with his own firm, Nigro & Westfall P.C. Craig has tried bench and jury trials, and argued appellate court cases. He has handled mediations, arbitrations, and innumerable court hearings. Craig has successfully represented clients before the Circuit Courts of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will Counties, the 2nd and 3rd Illinois District Appellate Courts, the Northern District of Illinois Bankruptcy Court, and the Northern District Illinois Federal District Court. The initial focus of his practice was Creditors’ Rights, primarily representing local DuPage County Banks.  The advent of Interstate Banking, and the resulting consolidation of banks, caused him to refocus his practice on individuals and small businesses. The primary focus of Craig’s practice for the last 25 years has been Real Estate (Residential, Commercial & Title Services), Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, formation and maintenance of corporations and LLCs, and General Business practice. He still does work for Old Second National Bank.

Craig’s community involvement includes being Director and Officer of Westlake Homeowners Association, President and Member of the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Carol Stream/Glendale Heights Rotary Club, Community Advisory Director for 1stNational Bank of Chicago, Director, and Vice President of the Bloomingdale Baseball Association.
